Some of the words I have written here will hurt those who matter: and for that, I am sorry.
But I cannot lie about what I feel when I write for myself. These words record a part of my self that I wish to remember. And so I continue to write: in the hope that in time, my words will bring me to that point where everything is forgiven.
– mightwar: Seeking Forgiveness
Hello, and welcome to MightWar – the online musical.
I cannot say when I first started writing to record my thoughts and experiences. But outside of messages and gifts, my writing was done for my sole pleasure and fill a number of notebooks that I return to from time to time.
This site is an experiment to find out what other people think about my writing and a direct result of my brother-from-another-mother telling me to “share” my words.
mightwar is a Poetry, Creative Writing and Photography blog. With topics ranging from travel to people to illness, mightwar puts pen to page to web. And so the word dances on…

This is great! Tell your brother what a great idea 🙂
If you’ve been writing since you can’t even remember… you are very much a writer. Great to meet you!
Thank you for visiting WordsFall. It’s great to meet you too.
Here is something I just discovered recently that you may or may not know about!!!! On the top right hand corner of your screen, when logged into WordPress, there is a little box inbetween “new post” and “your name” (in my case, Yvette). That button will look like a speech bubble, a circle with a + in it or some other thing which I forget what, right now. If you click on that, it will drop you down a list of who has commented recently on your blog, who has liked it, and how many followers etc you have! It’s just awesome and a really quick and easy way to keep up with comments and reply to people etc. 😀
Thank you for that. Reading through the manual is slow going – there is just so much that this thing can do!
I know! I am always discovering bits and pieces!!!! I always put my own posts on to Stumbleupon… and I get a few hits from it each time, which is nice. 🙂
I love your start: the ‘some of the words here,’ comment…I see my blog as that as well. Somehow I suspect I’ve met an extraordinary writer here. Just, something about you.
Thank you redpilloutlaw, you made me blush.
Good. Emotion in a writer is a jackpot! [Broad smile]
😀
Permission granted!
Aye, aye Captain.
I was a bit rushed this morning and did not answer your question: Many people have burned notebooks over the years…achieving wellness and sobriety…god bless; walk slow and drink a lot of water.
That’s good advice right there. 🙂
“My brother, from another mother”. I love that line. Your blog is exceptioanally organized. Very unique. You’ve got an excellent spirit. You have great potentials to make history in blogging. A genius can always be identified even in the pre-mature stages of metamorphosis. You are made for the top. See you there! 🙂
Dear teeceecounsel
Thank you for your lovely compliments. The organisation of the blog is simply down to practicality. I suffer short term memory problems due to medication side effects and so I configured it for my needs. I figured that if I could find my way round, then it should hopefully be easy enough for others. I’m still finding my feet with this blogging malarkey, but am intrigued about where it’ll lead. On with the adventure … 😀
You are welcome!
